This pennant celebrates the Clemson Tigers 1981 National Championship football team. The 1981 Tigers won the National Championship after they defeated Nebraska in the Orange Bowl. Quarterback Homer Jordan and wide-receiver Perry Tuttle led the team against the Cornhuskers in the game. Terry Kinard was the ACC's top defensive back and a consensus All-America. Clemson finished the year 12-0 and ranked #1 in the Associated Press and Coaches polls. Victory Pennants are made of high-quality soft wool-felt and are screen-printed by hand.
