Ramirez notched his first win on July 6, 2007, against the Angels. Some pundits are already touting him as the heir apparent to Mariano Rivera. Edwar Ramirez has hand signed this 16x20 photograph of him in action, as he fires the ball in during his MLB debut on July 3, 2007, at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
