Rich "Goose" Gossage set the standard for today's closers. In 22 years with nine Major League teams, Gossage made four postseason appearances, compiled 310 career saves and in 1977 set the record for relief pitchers with a 155 strikeouts that season. In an 11-year period, he made nine All-Star Game appearances and had an ERA of 2.27 or lower in eight of those years. Rich Gossage has hand signed this 11x14 photo of him celebrating the Yankees ALCS victory. Gossage has also added the inscription "54" and "HOF 2008." This photo is from the collection of Michael Grossbardt and has been hand signed by him. A MLB Authentic Hologram is included.
