Item: SS-HAMMPHS016003
Product Description:
After becoming the youngest player on the U.S. National Team at age 15, it was clear that Mia Hamm and soccer would soon be one and the same. And they were. Hamm became the most decorated women's soccer player, with two Olympic Gold Medals (and one Silver Medal) and two Women's World Cup titles to her name. Hamm, a two-time FIFA World Player of the Year, retired after the 2004 Olympics in Athens and was enshrined in the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2007, her first year of eligibility. Mia Hamm has hand signed this 16x20 photograph of her in action, after making a penalty kick against Team China in the Final match of the FIFA Women's World Cup at the Rose Bowl on July 10, 1999 in Pasadena, California. Team USA defeated Team China 5-4 in sudden death after two overtimes. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
