A steady hitter his entire career, Rod Carew showed poise and the ability to find the gaps with his base hits. Carew played for just two teams, the Minnesota Twins and California Angels. He slapped his 3000th hit while with the Angels, and is one of less than 30 players to accomplish this feat. Carew ended his career in 1985 with a lifetime .328 batting average, and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991. This official MLB baseball has been hand signed by Rod Carew with the special inscription of HOF. This product comes complete with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
